Traditional Tweaks

This traditional style home needed an update. The pool was originally built in the center of the yard. By moving the pool about six feet east, we created a useable lawn space. The guest house was right up against the pool--an uncomfortable setting. By opening up the room of the guest house that was closest to the pool, it offered the opportunity to create a covered/outdoor space that connects the guest house and pool area and became an entertainment space. Space planning ultimately made this yard a considerably larger functional space than had originally existed.
